THIS IS THE
STAKEHOLDER MANAGER WORKSHOP
This 4-hour workshop is a powerful way to expand people's thinking about the quality of their working relationships and the impact on one's influence. It provides practical strategies for improving trust and alignment with others.
For whom is this workshop best suited?
This workshop serves as a great team builder for intact teams of as few as 6 people. It's also highly effective as a development opportunity that spans level and role for up to 60 participants.
Why is Stakeholder Management important?
Building and maintaining trust and alignment supports successful collaborations with others that are critical to your success.
What is Stakeholder Management?
Your stakeholders are anyone/everyone who influences your ability to succeed. These include the people with whom you currently work, as well as those who provide mentoring/advice and influence over your future career opportunities.
How do you help people improve their Stakeholder Management in this workshop?
In advance of the session, participants complete a Stakeholder Inventory in which they identify and rate each of their stakeholders on the degree of trust, alignment and impact.
In the workshop, we explore how best to prioritize those relationships where we will invest additional intention and attention. We then explore strategies for developing greater trust and/or alignment with these high-priority stakeholders. Each participant walks through the Stakeholder Planner worksheet and prepares for a conversation with one of their high-priority stakeholders that is designed to increase trust and/or alignment.
What do participants take away from the session?
They leave with practical tools in the form of worksheets which are used for managing their stakeholders. They include: Stakeholder Inventory, Stakeholder Planner, Conversation Starter and a completed plan for 1 high-priority stakeholder.
